Hi, I’m Robyn, an aspiring designer in the creative industries. My projects focus on furthering sustainability in modern design, whilst also retaining a sense of culture and emotion that traditional crafts present. In the future, I am looking to branch out into digital art, games design, and production design.

Sensory Design for Alternative Industries

Neurodivergent individuals oftentimes struggle to keep up with the tide of everyday tasks, especially in industries that have higher stress to work ratios such as hospitality, administration and desk jobs. Finding the time and space to take a step back is difficult within these jobs. As someone with ASD, I can understand the struggles of professional work when your brain and body sometimes can’t keep up.

My Negotiated project attempts to design the spaces described for companies, allowing establishments and industries outside of healthcare or education to provide safe environments for neurodivergent individuals who need somewhere to briefly recharge.
